    Brand new replacement springs for
    1971-1978 CADILLAC ELDORADO
    hood hinges. They have been manufactured in the USA to the exact OEM specifications for the model years listed. These are not foreign made or "off the shelf" parts.
    They are made from high quality Chrome Silicon material which is superior to stainless steel for torsional, and bending stresses. Paint and coatings will adhere better to Chrome Silicon.
    Springs are
    sold in pairs only
    Plating or powder coating not recommended. Elevated temperatures required during these processes can anneal the springs and weaken them.
    Note: These are replacement springs for broken, rusted or weak originals. Replacing springs will not fix a worn out hood hinge. I also offer hood hinge rebuilding services.
