Antique Handmade Leather Shot Pouch, with Shot. One-Of-A-Kind!

For sale is the antique leather buckshot pouch pictured. It measures roughly 4" tall by 2" wide, and is extremely fragile but still in amazing shape for how old I believe it is.
Without any background knowledge on how to carbon date leather, I wouldn't at all be surprised if it's Civil War aged, which is not only how old I'm assuming it is, it's the reason I put this listing in the vintage militaria category ranging from 1790-1860.
It features a hand whittled stopper that fits tightly into a twine/string wrapped hand carved stopper base. The twine also encompasses the hand-sewn leather pouch itself, complete with a very obviously rushed outer seam. Inside is the buckshot that came in the pouch when I bought it, and while it may have been a later addition, it's still a gunmetal color leading me to believe it itself is very old.
It's all around a gorgeous antique made with real American ingenuity for personal use and enjoyment. To even see such a one-of-a-kind item is a true pleasure and, while I hate to see it go, money's tight and collectibles are the first thing to go.
