Description
Sword Battle Of San Jacinto. This sword was purchased from the Fisher estate out of Liberty Texas. The original owner was a prominent attorney in Liberty Co for years, he is now deceased. The sword was purchased from his son David Fisher who can attest to it's authenticity. We obviously can not say with 100% certainty that this sword was used in the Battle of San Jacinto, but only that it was indeed dug out of the sandy bank of the San Jacinto River near the battle grounds in 1952. David's contact information will be given to the winner of this auction for verification purposes. The handle is loose and missing the leather grip. Blade is intact but rusted. Please see photos for full description and ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Sword will be shipped with insurance. Thank you. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
