Early Vintage Silod Brass Figural Corn Door Knocker Great Surface Herco Mexico

Just out of a local smoke free house is this vintage solid brass figural corn door knocker. This model is the earlier version that became the model for later less detailed reproductions. The door knocker has a reddish brown colored patina on the backing with the corn having a natural brass finish. It is marked Herco Mexico. The knocker measures about 9 inches high and about 3 5/8 inches wide. It is substantial and weighs almost 2 pounds 5 ounces. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
