    Description

    French Hanger Model 1767 Grenadiers Sabre Briquet.
    The ricasso is unmarked, no markings anywhere
    . The brass guard does have a little wiggle to it and shows typical wear.
    The blade has been s
    harpened (it is sharp), no nicks, an
    d it does have a couple extremely minor (barely noticeable) bends
    .
    It looks like the entire piece was painted black at some point, the blade still has black on it, some of the black on the guard/grip has come off.
    Length of the blade is 25 5/16" (1 9/16" wide and 5/16" thick) and overall the sword is 30 1/4".
