Infantry sword mle 1831 with scabbard
14.8 cm long cast brass frame.
Ovoid pommel surmounted by a dome serving as a rivet button.
Handle with 26 grooves.
Straight cruise of 10.5 cm with quillons à rouelle.
48 cm two-edged blade, carp tongue with triangular flat at the heel, a little protruding ridge extending to the tip.
Blackened leather scabbard, first with seam then in compressed leather from 1847;
clevis with trigger guard, bouterolle ending in a small button in olive.
Numbered "153"
The case and the sword bear the same number "701".
Oxidized blade at the heel.
