    Pattern 1831 Victorian era Scottish officer’s broadswordwith basket hilt.
    Highland officer’ssword. Blue shagreen grip with tightly bound brass wire wrap. Steel, piercedbasket hilt complete with its original liner and ‘wig’. Excellent 33-inchdouble-edged blade with two fullers, engraved with the VR & crown cypher.Maker’s mark: Morrison, Glasgow. Steel scabbard with two suspension rings. Bothscrews at the top of the scabbard are in place and have never been turned sincethe sword was originally made. 40 inches overall. Overall the condition of thissword is Excellent.
