    Description

    Prussian Potsdam Model 1839 Socket Bayonet.
    The only marking I can find is a faint oval mark on the blade shoulder. Overall it has a darkened patina with pitting and light surface rust throughout
    . Length of the blade measures 18 3/4" (7/8" wide x 3/8" thick) and the bayonet is 22 1/4". The socket is 3 1/16".
    The muzzle hole is 7/8".
