    RARE SABER OF INFANTRY OFFICERS model 1821 with scabbard
    Brass frame
    Crown, with rim and dome button of rivet slightly inclined towards the front and short tail with border of bay leaves
    arched joining arc, with stylized ring
    From this ring starts a small secondary branch joining the plate in the same plane
    Oval top, finished with a flower and small leaves, in the same spirit as the motif at the beginning of the arc
    Curved quillon
    Blade to the Montmorency blade with hollow sides and gutter at the fort
    marking on the back of the blade "Couleaux Frères & Klingenthal"
    The icing on the cake: it has a small safety hook activated by a push button to release the blade: it is unusual!

    small scratch on the joining arc (see photo)

    date "1855" on the heel of the blade
