Very Rare Joseph Rogers U S NAVY Eagle Head Blue Toned Etched Sword 1800 -1850

Description

This is a wonder rare U S NAVY sword marked on the blade ,
It Says Manufactured England Norfolk Va Joseph Rogers & Sons on the blade, but only part is readable,
,
It retains some of the bluing and gold paint,it has wonderful etching in the blade,the eagle is very detailed,and wonder chestnuts on the points,it is approximately 31.5 inches long ,it has a small chip in the handle and a crack.
Please look at photos but the photos don't do the sword justice,its better in person than photos show.
I only found 1 in my
searching
the internet,it was nr mint with the
scabbard
and the seller wanted 9000.00
