13"
Madame Alexander doll from the "First Lady Doll Collection Series II".
This dolls name is Jane Findlay, she was the chaperone to the daughter in-law of President Harrison whose name was Jane Irwin Harrison and was chosen by the president to act as the First Lady as his wife was ill at the time of the Inauguration.
This doll came from the estate of a woman who was a collector of dolls and she has been in storage for many years.
She comes in her original box and is stock # 1509 and she was made in the 196
0's by the Alexander Doll Company, Inc. in New York, New York.  She is made of plastic and vinyl and is all original in excellent condition in her original packaging and tags. She is dressed in a brown velvet dress with white lace trim, a white slip, white bloomers, white socks, a necklace and black shoes. Her
blonde
hair is braided in buns and she has dark brown eyes. She is in her original box which shows signs of wear from storage.
