    Offered is a rare large 2-piece US Dragoon ‘D’ button from approximately the War with Mexico through the Civil War. Perfectly upright shank. Backmark isn’t legible but the group were found in the same site with legible backmarks all being ‘Scovills Waterbury’. Back of button case is marked ‘DR3 1833-42 Ft Reid’.
